Privacy Policy

 
  This Privacy Policy is to ensure the confidence of our subscribers, members and partners and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.

1.  Types of Information Collected

a.  Traffic Data Collected. We automatically track and collect the following information when you visit our site, including your: (i) IP address; (ii) domain name; (collectively "Traffic Data"). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for improving your experience on the site. We do not use the collected information for marketing purposes. We DO NOT use "cookies".

b.  Subscriber Information Collected. In order for you to access certain premium services/information, we require you to provide us with information. The collected information does not identify you personally, though identifies you as a unique entity to the site ("Subscriber Information"). Subscriber Information may include: (i) User name; (ii) Password; and (iii) Demographic Data (such as country of origin) and (iv) e-mail address. If you communicate with us by email, post messages to any of our chat groups, bulletin boards or forums, or otherwise complete online forms, surveys or contest entries, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Subscriber Information.

c. Company Information Collected. For our Supply-Demand database we collect information on companies. Information submission is voluntary.  The information we collect identifies your company as a unique entity with Name and Contact Details. We use the collected information to match Suppliers with Buyers. As a result of a search in the Supply-Demand database your company information is displayed and accessible to third parties. In our supply-Demand system we also collect information on how many times and when a particular company information was accessed. This information does not identify the user, who accessed the Company Information, personally in any way. We remove Company Information from our database for your request only. Please, send an e-mail requesting the removal of the Company information to: sd@euroitx.com indicating your COMPANY NAME, your USER NAME and COUNTRY of origin.

d. Information Collection From Other Sources. At euroitx.com we collect contact information, particularly e-mail addresses from legitimate sources, such as Internet research, papers and publications, public events, etc.

2.  Uses of Information Collected

We may use your contact details address to send you information about our company and/or our products or services or promotional material from some of our partners, or to contact you when necessary. Subscriber data is also used to grant permissions to information and services.

3.  Sharing of Information

We do not share data we collect with any 3rd parties unless a written permission is acquired on a case-by-case basis.

4.  User Choice Regarding Collection, Use and Distribution of Information

 You may choose not to provide us with any Company Information. In such an event, you can still access and use certain portions of the site; however, you will not be able to access and use those portions of the site that require company registration.

 You may choose not to provide us with any Subscriber Information. In such an event, you can still access and use certain portions of the site; however, you will not be able to access and use those portions of the site that require subscription.

 You may choose to have your contact information completely removed from our information repository.

5.  Confidentiality and Security

 Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will keep your Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect our rights or property; or (c) enforce our Terms of Service. The data we collect are hosted on shared servers by a third party. Data security and integrity is ensured by a third party vendor. In no event will EuroITX.com/CBI or any other sponsor companies be liable to any party for any direct, indirect, special or other consequential damages for any use of this website, or on any other hyperlinked website, or any data loss, misuse, alteration or unintentional destruction of data including, without limitation, any lost profits, business interruption, loss of programs or other data on your information handling system or otherwise, even if we are expressly advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Supplied Data.

 EuroITX.com will not edit or censor the data you provide. If we become aware that any data provided is soliciting, collecting or broadcasting prohibited information, violates applicable laws, or violates the Terms of use or those of any applicable third party, we reserves the right to remove the data immediately without notice to the data's owner. 7.  User Ability to Access, Update and Correct Subscriber Information

 In order to ensure that all of your Subscriber Information and Company Information is correct and up to date, after logging into the site you may visit your profile(s) via the appropriate link from the site home page. Through your profile(s) you may: (a) review and update any Subscriber/Company Information that we have already collected; (b) choose whether or not you wish us to send you our e-newsletter.

8.  Lost or Stolen Information

 You must promptly notify us if your user name or password is lost, stolen or used without permission. In such an event, we will cancel that user name or password and update our records accordingly.

9.  Other Limits to Your Privacy

 The site contains links to other Web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. We may also make interactive discussion forums, message boards, and news groups available to you. Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information. We have no control over its distribution or use, and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your Subscriber Information.

10. E-mail Policy

We are very aware of the intrusive nature of unsolicited e-mail. We only send our subscribers mail which we hope will be of value to them. Minimise the number of mailings we make, whilst providing a reasonable level of service. Limit the size of mailings to minimise their impact on our subscribers' networks and computer systems Only augment our mailing lists from voluntary, opt-in address submission on our web site, individual requests, and from legitimate sources such as internet research, public events, publicly available papers and presentations, our own research, etc.

We do not share our mailing lists with any third parties. Always include an unsubscribe option or link with our mailings. Subscribers may also unsubscribe at any time by sending an e-mail with the subject "Unsubscribe" to: subscription@euroitx.com

Our existing e-mail lists have been created from our own opt-in facilities on this web site, and/or data obtained from legitimate list providers and/or as a result of our own other activities.

If you feel you have been subscribed to the wrong list, or are receiving multiple e-mails, or otherwise you would like to suspend or stop entirely your subscription(s), or you would like to have your contact information removed, please contact us at: subscription@euroitx.com.

11.  Updates and Changes to Privacy Policy
