Month November was very quiet. A few overtakings, law suits and of course the PeopleSoft-Oracle saga dominated the IT world. The Firefox browser was released, with over 5 million downloads within a short period of time,  and as a result Microsoft's market share in the browser market dropped bellow the 90% mark.
